Andy Gill BSc (Hons) FCA
Andy is a Chartered Accountant with a joint honours degree in economics and computer science. Guernsey born and bred, Andy's experience in the retail and finance sectors includes banking, funds, trust and insurance. He is a director of a local insurance manager and intermediary and until recently, financial consultant to the St John Emergency Ambulance Service. Privately, he is the finance director of the GFA, committee member and honorary accountant for the GTTA and treasurer of the Guernsey Art Network.
His career spans more than 30 years and includes seven years with Ernst & Young, private banking and two years down under as an honorary Kiwi. Andy has extensive experience implementing accounting software, project management and designing business models.
Andy worked in the fiduciary, fund management and insurance fields before becoming a financial controller in the commercial sector. He now provides day-to-day financial consultancy and tax support to a range of local business clients.
Andy's claim to fame (or biggest regret) is turning down a dinner inviitation with famed All Black Jonah Lomu.
