Andy Gill BSc (Hons) FCA
Andy is a Chartered Accountant with a joint honours degree in economics and computer science. Guernsey born and bred, Andy's experience in the retail and finance sectors includes banking, funds, trust and insurance. Since 2006, he has been the director and owner of AG Accounting Services Ltd.
Until recently, he was also an executive director of an insurance manager and intermediary, and acted as the financial consultant to the St John Emergency Ambulance Service LBG. He currently also acts as a non-executive director in captive insurance.
Privately, since 2013 he has been the finance director of the Guernsey Football Association LBG, since 2013, on the executive committee of Guernsey Table Tennis Association LBG as their tournament secretary, and was previously their honary accountant before passing on the roll to others. He acts as independent accountant for two other sports. Andy has been the treasurer of the Guernsey Art Network since 2016.
His career spans more than 30 years and includes seven years with Ernst & Young, private banking in a management capacity, and two years down under as an honorary Kiwi. Andy has extensive experience implementing accounting software, project management and designing business models. His current specialisms are Guernsey taxation, business modelling and valuations.
Andy's claim to fame (or biggest regret) is turning down a dinner invitation with famed All Black Jonah Lomu.
